If you get a blank page when clicking on the "Members' Area" link, then the following may be of assistance:
The first thing to do is to check that your browser settings are not disabling Java on your computer.
Internet Explorer 6.0
Earlier versions of Internet Explorer may have a slightly different procedure, but the main point is to set Internet Security to Medium. If you are using an early version of IE (before v5.0), we recommend that you upgrade to the latest version.
Netscape
If you are not using Netscape v3.0 or higher, these instructions may not be correct.
If Java has been enabled in your browser as above, then you need to check that the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) is installed on your computer.
Although this may seem to be an inconvenience, it's really all for the best in the long run. The use of Java is widespread on the internet now. Anything from rollover buttons (buttons which change when you put your mouse cursor over them) to opening web pages in new windows from a link to Java applets all require Java to be implemented on a computer. Many regular web pages will not display or work properly without Java.
It only needs to be done

Windows XP users:
If you have a PC which came with the first version of Windows XP already installed, or have upgraded to the first version Windows XP then you will probably need to install the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). First, though, do a file search for MSJava.dll. If you find the file, you have the JVM.
JVM was usually included in earlier versions of Windows (98, ME), but because of a legal dispute between Sun Microsystems and Microsoft, the latter saw fit to exclude it from the first version of Windows XP. If you have a newer version of XP, or have installed XP Service Pack 1 (available from Microsoft's website), then JVM should be included as Microsoft have had a change of heart.
You can get JVM from Sun Microsystems website by clicking here. The download and installation should be automatic. Once it is complete, you should re-boot your PC.
Windows 95/98/ME users:
As above, you should ensure that the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) is installed on your PC. Do a file search for MSJava.dll. If you find the file, you have the JVM.
Otherwise, you can get JVM from Sun Microsystems website by clicking here. The download and installation should be automatic. Once it is complete, you should re-boot your PC.
Apple Mac Users:
If you are using the Mac OSX, then Java support is built in and you should not be having any problems, unless your browser settings have disabled Java (see above).
If you are using Mac
OS Classic (8, 9), first check if you have a folder called Mac
OS Runtime For Java in your Apple Extras folder. If
so, you have the JVM.
Otherwise you can download the appropriate software by clicking
here. You will also need the MRJ Plugin which you can get by clicking
here. More information on this plugin can be found here.
